Cinematic music that touches our deepest emotions

Antonija Pacek is a neoclassical composer and pianist. In July 2024, she was invited to join the Recording Academy as a voting member (deciding on who gets Grammy awards).

Antonija has published seven albums since 2014. Her music is being played at a number of prominent radio stations around the world, including Klassik Radio Vienna, FM Classic New York, FM Classic London, BBC Radio, Twenty Sound Berlin, Shades of Classics Canada and many others. Antonija’s music is available on 54 major streaming platforms, and on Spotify she has collected over 1 million streams.

Her latest album, Spark, was published in 2024, and it includes compositions created for the theatre play “Woman Anthem”. The single Reminiscent was awarded the Single of the Month by the One World Music Radio in the UK. Italian Kathodik magazine reviewed “Spark”: “The music in Pacek’s unmistakable style unfolds like an orchestral soundtrack, pure and clear, with enveloping, ethereal, very sweet melodies and harmonies. Her music is always fascinating and poetic, and listening transports us to distant, peaceful, serene worlds. Slow and evocative songs, performed with a soft and evanescent touch, which gives them a warm light, in an outpouring of emotions that warm the heart. In her musical genre Pacek is excellent, inspired and profound. She empathetically manages to convey strong emotions, sensations of peace and tranquillity.”

About her 2023 album Night Steve Sheppard wrote: “On this new album we find some of the most tender and touching material from the artist yet, a creative genius”. Rebecca Cullen (Stereo Stickman Magazine) reviewed the 2022 Seasons of Life album: “Composer, artist and cinematically focused musician Antonija Pacek brings a refreshingly unpredictable edge of creativity to the neoclassical realm, with her superb, intimate yet powerful new album.” Take Effects Reviews wrote about her album Forever (2020): “Forever carries a captivating romantic spirit and an exceptional performance that will have you hanging on every note.”

Antonija toured Italy with her third album Il Mare (2018) and Life Stories (2017). L’Arena in Verona reviewed her concert with, “Pacek, Revival of the Great Classics”, and Free magazine in Milan wrote a concert review with the title: “Symphony of Emotions”. Italian DonnaD magazine reviewed her tour and wrote: “neoclassical masterpiece”. Il Giornale Milano wrote an article “The three styles of the keyboard, Einaudi, Allevi and Pacek – The plan is to tell emotion”. After Antonija’s concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome in Feb. 2019, Scena Critica reviewed her concert and wrote: it was “a concert that goes directly to the soul” and it “creates an evocative poetic love”. She received a special review in May 2019, after her concert in Teatro dal Verme in Milan, from Vatican newspaper: “music close to meditation of angels”.

Micheal Loesl wrote about Antonija’s debut album Soul Colours (signed by Warner Chappell): “It is hard to place Antonija Pacek’s music into any category. Her music is as genuine as any music can be, and it connects to the listener’s deepest emotions. Some call it cinematic, and some call it neoclassical music. She is a romanticist with a soft spot for minimalism.” German critics referred to music from Soul Colours to be “beautiful like a radiant jewel”, “a female response to Ludovico Einaudi”, and “resembling Erik Satie’s as well as Keith Jarrett’s The Cologne Concert”.

Antonija lives in Vienna with her husband and three daughters. She studied psychology at the University of Cambridge and in Vienna. She is the owner of IMAGINO, a company that works with the largest corporations on boosting creativity and innovation. Antonija spends her summers on the island of Lopud, Croatia.
