Here is an excerpt translated from italian: “A little light in these pandemic days is brought by the long-awaited album “Forever” by Antonija Pacek, which will be released on October 23, 2020 by Parma Recordings – Navona Records. Antonija approached the music with an open heart, sincerely pouring emotions into every single composition on the album. It is this understanding and empathy with the current, difficult situation in which many find themselves due to the corona-pandemic, has enabled, a certain kind of maturation of Antonija’s own creativity, to find a new musical language in the existing one. “I believe that something in me was looking for balance, on the one hand it was empathy for people who face hardship because of illness or lost jobs, and on the other it was an inner need for something cheerful and relaxing as a counterweight to this sad and difficult. Today I signed a contract with Parma Recordings, a well-known classical music label in the USA. Parma Recordings will publish my newest, fourth album “Forever”. The album will be available on all major streaming platforms and also in a CD form. Their team accepted all of my 13 new songs: Sofia, If Only Time Allowed, Gone Young, Forever, Lullaby, Light, Almost Goodbye, Before the Rain, Deep Red, Farewell to Sad, Inner Child, Wanna Dance and What is Waiting for Me. I suggested also two bonus tracks, and am waiting for their confirmation. Parma Recordings accepted the chosen picture from Antonio Gonzalez, the Windmill, which was the picture of the day on NASA’s platform on April 17th, 2020. I feel very delighted, grateful and excited!

On May 9th, 2020 Rade Serbedzija, one of our most prominent and expressive actors, published on his FB artist page a recital of Izet Sarajlic’s beautiful and very sad poem, “Veceras cemo za njih voljeti”. In the background is playing my newest compositions “If only time allowed”. The fact that Rade chose my song is a tremendous honor and I feel so grateful. “If only time allowed” will be published on the new album “Forever”.

Watching Rade perform this poem with a lot of emotions made me cry…

I feel so excited, honored and delighted to share that I have got a permission to take one of the most beautiful photos of the universe and a windmill, taken by Antonio Gonzalez, for the new cover of my newest CD “Forever”. Antonio wrote to me that he really loves my music and that his photography will match well my new compositions. The compositions will reflect darkness and light of our current uneasy situation while most of the countries are in lockdown mode. However, we also need some uplifting and relaxing tunes to conquer the current stress and frustrations we might feel.

I am very honored and delighted that my album “IL MARE” was nominated in the category of “Contemporary and Modern Album of the year 2019”.  The announcement of the winner will be on Feb. 24th, 2020. A huge thanks to Rade Serbedzija for inviting me to his concert in Vienna. It was a magical and unforgettable evening.
