What a beautiful venue at “Sponza” in the middle of the Dubrovnik center, warm audience and a perfectly tuned concert piano. The concert that I performed at the end of June in 2022 will always stay in my memory – it was very emotional. Thank you Daria Mikulandra for your great organization and your friendship!

A beautiful review for my concert in Dubrovnik
“Quite emotional concert by Antonija Pacek at the place Sponza”
Emotional concert by Antonija Pacek is a real sensation in the program done by Midsummer Scene Festival in Dubrovnik.
Croatian Austrian cinematic music composer Antonija Pacek performed a beautiful and emotive concert at the place Sponza in Dubrovnik as a part of Midsummer Scene Festival. This monumental palace seems to be made for compositions, inspired by the sea and summer feeling….

Thank You, Mama Workshop
I immensely enjoyed the “Thank You, Mama Workshop”, where I also introduced some ideas on perception, perceptional errors and creative processes. I also played some of my self-composed compositions that would enhance some of the exercises during the workshop.
I would warmly recommend “Thank you, Mama Workshop”, created by Ana Tajder, as it is self-reflective, liberating, full of meaningful exercises and dialogues throughout our quest to explore motherhood (what we cherish from our mothers and how we could better mother ourselves). I appreciated Traude’s meditative exercise that gave us a special energy during this exploration and helped participants to bond with one another. It felt energizing and full of reflective thinking.

Backstage Podcast no. 99
Leni Bohrmann, an actress and a screenplay writer from Germany has a very interesting BACKSTAGE podcasts. I am very grateful and honored that she chose to interview me for her podcast no. 99. She was fascinated by the fact that I enrolled myself (on my own) to the music school with the age of 6, that although I am a composer, I studies only psychology, and that after so many years without the piano – when I got one again, I decided that I will never let it go again… So we talked about my childhood, living my country, my studies, my music and my future projects. You can find it on the below links:
HUGHES HALL article

New CD in production
As of April 26th, my newest CD went into production at CSM Organization. Michael Hofbauer, made the beautiful art work for the back side and inserted page inside of the CD box, as well as the print on the CD itself. Back side photography is done by Dean Tosovic. The CD is featuring two songs with Sanja Romic. Mastering was beautifully done by Davor Rocco, who also mixed “Sadness” and “Rain Drops” (piano and oboe). I am incredibly lucky with wonderful people I have been working with.
Fall Train travels all the way to Japan
Thank you Akiko Hori for adding “Fall Train” composition to your International Piano playlist, which is based in Japan. It feels so nice to have my music to travel all the way to Japan. I follow Akiko’s work, she is also a composer. I highly recommend her music as well!
Happy Conference Impressions
What are great memory on the fantastic audience and a beautiful city of Portugal. I presented The Joys of Stress, on how to not take stress only as a villain and suggested techniques and mindset resetting in order to cope with stress. After my presentation, I played “If Only Time Allowed” to support the audience during their self-reflective exercise.
Thank You, Mama
Dear Ana Tajder interviewed me for her Thank you, Mama podcast (available on Spotify and Apple Music) about my mom Slavica who gave me some important lessons for my life. The major lessons were that everything is possible, that we need to believe in our dreams, invest time and effort in education, leave something behind (I am leaving my music behind), express your creativity and be kind, loving, giving to others (and don’t forget to smile).
You can also find out more about my mom’s life in this episode. Thank you for listening!
Thank you Andy Brown for your impressions
“Hi Antonija, I’m still working my way properly and without distractions through your new album and have to say there are 2 compositions in particular which I am in love with. I love the whole album and it certainly takes me to different places at different times of the day. Thank you so much for your amazing compositions. Blown away yet again. Fantastic !!!
‘Life is…’ and ‘Spur of a moment’ are pretty much on repeat. Too beautiful for words and thought provoking in such amazing ways that I’m in awe. ‘Life is…’ started to play and it took me straight back to the night your composition ‘Almost Goodbye ‘ was played on Classic FM (London) and it woke me which I am still bewildered at. You’ve no idea how happy I am that somehow the beauty of it triggered the brain. I can’t recall any other musician being able to do that. Have a super evening
“
My response to Andy was:
“Dear Andy, thank you so much. I feel moved that you would choose these two compositions and thank you for your description how you feel about them. I am endlessly grateful for your sharing this with me. “Life Is…” is a musical vision of what life means for me. Life consists of ups and downs, learning and developing, simply beautiful and intense moments. I intentionally left the title open, so that everyone could define life for themselves while listening to the song. “Spur of a Moment” was created at a moment of happiness, when my heart was full of joy. If I get sad, I play this composition, and it gives me a sense of joy. I wanted to finish my album this uplifting, cheerful melody.
Thank you dear Andy, have a great weekend!
